Biography

Mariela Lara joined North Shepherd Ambulatory Surgery Center in May 2025 as an Access Coordinator, bringing 7 years of experience in scheduling and insurance verification within a multispecialty ASC setting. She is highly skilled in coordinating patient access and navigating insurance processes to support efficient operations. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Mariela is dedicated to creating a positive and seamless experience for patients. She was drawn to North Shepherd ASC because of her passion for working in the ambulatory surgery center environments and helping out patients undergoing dialysis.
